However, after resetting windows 11 Dragon Center was not installed but MSI SDK was, and you can't install Dragon Center while MSI SDK is already installed. MSI support was adamant that reinstalling windows was the only solution. No amount of uninstalling and reinstalling fixed the issues. The deck of the laptop was uncomfortably hot and the fans were silent. After following their instructions dragon Center was not functioning and the fans were not running or were not running enough. MSI Center did not function and I did manage to get Dragon Center running again but had the issue where the on screen indicators were no longer working.īack to MSI support, they gave me advice that made the situation worse. DO NOT MOVE FROM DRAGON CENTER TO MSI CENTER unless you are 100% certain your hardware is supported. Originally a minor issue led me to MSI support/forums and given the advice to remove Dragon Center and use MSI 1. Posted here as part rant and part PSA for anyone else having the same issue. This is what I needed to do to restore Dragon Center and get the fans to run again. Follow up to: After Dragon center reinstall no longer displays changes using Fn+F7.
